Nerikomi — Colored Porcelain Workshop

Join experimental porcelain artist Dorothy Feibleman for an intensive three-day workshop exploring the use of nerikomi (laminated colored porcelain) and zogan (inlaid) porcelain. Students will learn Dorothy’s unique variety of coloring and fusing methods and will discover how to mix colors, make gradations and patterns, and create finishes. These techniques create works of art with stunning gradations of color, texture, and translucency. Participants will complete a sake cup, tea bowl or other object that may be fired at the Hui or independently. If fired by the Hui, additional firing fees will apply.
